Tickscope for iOS — Last updated: March 2026
Tickscope accesses your device microphone solely to detect mechanical watch tick sounds. Audio is processed entirely on-device in real time. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
Measurement results (rate, beat error, amplitude) and watch catalog entries are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.
Tickscope does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
If you add a photo to a watch in the catalog, it is stored locally on your device. Photos are never uploaded or shared.
Tickscope offers an in-app purchase to unlock unlimited measurements. This transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store any payment information.
